The Heart of Our Mission
At FoxyRents, we are aligned with Giving Back Canada's initiatives- providing underprivileged families in the Toronto area with stable, affordable housing. Through our strategic partnership, we are reinvesting in the community by creating opportunities for those in need, and ensuring that everyone has a place to call home.
How We Get Involved
In the beginning, FoxyRents selects laneway homes within our developments that will be allocated to Giving Back Canada, a non-profit in the Greater Toronto Area, providing safe, transitional housing for families in crisis. As we grow our funding and community support, our long-term vision is to convert all market rental units into shelters, expanding our reach to serve more individuals in need.
Each FoxyHome laneway property features 4 to 5 bedrooms, offering space for up to three families to rebuild their lives in thriving neighborhoods—areas with strong schools, job opportunities, and essential services.
Our Vetting Process
Family Eligibility & Initial Assessment
Families are referred through shelters or social workers, undergo a needs assessment, and receive a personalized support plan for housing and self-sufficiency.
STEP 1
Background Screening & Approval
A safety and financial review ensures stability, followed by a joint approval from FoxyRents and Giving Back Canada to confirm eligibility.
STEP 2
Placement & Transition to Housing
Families move into a laneway suite with ongoing support, including job training, financial literacy, and a clear path to permanent housing.
STEP 3
Together, we Build a Better Future At FoxyHome by PCMNow, we're not just about creating beautiful, and sustainable homes — we're also focused on building stronger, more compassionate communities. By supporting cancer research and services like The Magic Castle, we’re helping families thrive. We believe in the power of community, and the importance of making a meaningful impact, supporting both neighborhoods and families across Toronto.
A Holistic Approach: Path To Self-Sufficiency
Our vision extends beyond shelter—we aim to provide the tools and resources needed for individuals to regain independence.
As part of our expansion, we will institute programs that help and assist shelter recipients in becoming self-sufficient, empowering them with:

Our ultimate goal is to help families transition out of our umbrella and into independent housing, making way for others in need and ensuring that FoxyRents remains a beacon of hope and renewal for generations to come.
